In a time when opinions are loud and truth is treated as relative, we are convinced that the Word of God is not only sufficient for faith and godliness but authoritative over every part of life.

We believe that lasting wisdom begins with submission to God’s revealed Word. Every episode, resource, and reflection seeks to deepen understanding and strengthen conviction—guiding believers to think biblically, live faithfully, and walk humbly before God. Our mission is not to add to Scripture or modernize it but to magnify what has already been spoken, because every word that proceeds from the mouth of God still gives life to His people today.

This ministry rests on the conviction that salvation is entirely the work of God’s grace—that He calls, redeems, and sanctifies a people for Himself through Christ alone. Because of this, our confidence is not in the wisdom of man but in the power of God’s Word to accomplish what He intends.

We long to see men and women whose lives are built on that Word: homes ordered by truth, minds renewed by Scripture, churches strengthened by sound teaching, and hearts anchored in Christ. We learn so that we may live, and we live so that we may glorify the One who speaks still.

Built on the Word — Learning to live by every word of God.

At Built on the Word, we hold to the historic Christian faith once for all delivered to the saints. Our convictions flow from Scripture alone—God’s inspired, inerrant, sufficient, and authoritative Word.

The Word of God
We believe the Bible is the complete and final revelation of God, breathed out by Him and without error in all that it affirms. It is the ultimate authority for faith and life, the standard by which all truth claims are measured, and the means by which God brings His people to maturity in Christ.

The Triune God
We worship one God in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—coequal and coeternal. He is holy, sovereign, and perfect in all His ways, worthy of all honor, glory, and praise.

The Gospel of Grace
We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, to the glory of God alone. Humanity, fallen and unable to save itself, is reconciled to God only through the substitutionary atonement and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Those whom the Father calls, the Spirit regenerates and keeps to the end, that no one may boast except in the Lord.

The Church
We believe Christ has established His church as a visible community of redeemed people who gather for worship, the preaching of the Word, prayer, and the ordinances. Baptism by immersion is the outward expression of inward faith and union with Christ. The Lord’s Supper is a remembrance and proclamation of His death until He returns.

The Christian Life
We believe the grace that saves also sanctifies. Every believer is called to a life of holiness, humility, and joyful obedience to God’s commands—not to earn His favor but because we have received it. The Spirit works in us to conform us to the image of Christ, that our homes, work, and witness might reflect His glory.

The Hope to Come
We believe in the bodily return of Jesus Christ, the final judgment of the wicked, and the everlasting joy of the redeemed. We look forward with confidence to the restoration of all things, when every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

All financial support for Built on the Word is used solely to cover ministry overhead and the ongoing costs of production and resource creation.

Funds are used for:

• Hosting, editing, and publishing podcast episodes
   
• Writing, recording, and producing Built on the Word podcast and blog content
   
• Website maintenance and creation of digital resources
   
• Bible reading materials, study guides, and journaling tools
   
• Licensing, software, and music used in the podcast and videos
   
• Equipment and media production expenses
   

No personal income is taken from this work. Built on the Word operates entirely as a ministry outreach—dedicated to teaching Scripture faithfully and making biblical resources freely accessible.

We believe the call to give is a call to participate in the spread of the gospel. As Paul wrote:

“How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? … How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” — Romans 10:14–15
