2010: A Year in the Word at CBC

Just a reminder… We at CBC will be reading through the entire Bible this year.

Please join us as we study and navigate the landscape of God’s special revelation. We’ll begin the journey at the Beginning (Genesis) and conclude (Revelation) with God’s people entering an eternity of glory and blessedness.

Pastor Bill recommends we focus on one book at a time, start to finish, to facilitate our retention of the unfolding of biblical history and truth. The plan is to read four (4) chapters a day until April 4, and three (3) per day thereafter until the end of the year. However, should you prefer a different method of covering the Bible, please feel free to pursue your own track. Many at CBC, for example, have enjoyed the programs that involve a daily Old Testament and New Testament passage, coupled with a Psalm and portions of a Proverb.

Please keep a lookout for the handouts and summaries to be distributed over the course of the year. We trust such resources will further enrich your experience and that the Holy Spirit will use same to illumine His precious Word to your hearts and minds.
