Lent [day 12]… [Tuesday, 23 February 2016]
It’s getting late…
Tuesday is almost gone…

What a great day…
Just finished a quick walk with the Jeepster…
What a ride home across the bridge with a full moon providing glimmering light on Tampa Bay… I just wanted to stop and stare…
My last coffee of the day was with a beautiful and beloved daughter of Abba who has been given a brand new life through His furious and passionate love!
She is a new person in Jesus…
The Good News still works — ALWAYS!
The Point [C.R.] was great again tonight — over 30 people celebrating our life recovery TOGETHER as a spiritual family…
Our question for small group sharing: “How does a follower of Jesus find the FREEDOM to consciously choose to commit all of life to the pursuit of the Kingdom of God?”
Pretty good stuff…
I had been reflecting earlier this afternoon on the Kingdom of God…
It was Jesus’ favorite topic — he talked about the Kingdom MORE than anything else… The Kingdom is very near to God’s heart…
God’s rule breaking in — heaven kissing earth NOW [and also later]…
Healing the sick…
Casting demons out of the demonized…
Sharing the Good News…
Feeding the poor…
Visiting the prisoners…
Caring for the sick…
Loving our enemies…
Touching the untouchables…
Walking through the valley of the shadow with the dying…
THE GOOD STUFF!!!
So, how do I find the FREEDOM to make the Kingdom my primary concern?
Through INTIMACY…
The closer I am to Abba’s heart — the MORE I share his heart — the MORE I crave the coming of his Kingdom in my own life [and in our world]…
The bottom line is always LOVE — deepening INTIMACY…
Not a “have to” performance BUT a “get to” passion…
INTIMACY with God as Abba, Jesus and Holy Spirit…
May YOUR Kingdom come and YOUR will be done in me [and us] — on earth just as in heaven — NOW!
Early morning prayer with my Zgroup will come early at Ginger Beard Coffee in the am — have a great night’s sleep…
Blessings
