Wednesday our rest day!
Today, we went to Gri Gri which is a lagoon. We took a boat ride through the mangroves, into Sparrow Cave where Sparrows live, out to the reef for snorkeling, and stopped at the natural swimming pool for lunch. We have a whole new definition of lunch at the beach. The boat pulls up to the shore and you are greeted by a waiter who helps you ashore and provides you with a table and chairs under a tree. A freshly cooked, delicious Dominican lunch is served on stoneware. None of this paper plate stuff here not even plastic silverware. All this for less than $10 a person. We ended the day with worship at Buen Samaritano.
